There are a ton of talented, amazing models and photographers, but there are a plethora of members that are weirdos, fakes, flakes, or just altogether unprofessional. I came across Paige on MM and we agreed to work on something different from the standard eye candy genre. I have been shooting a lot of pinup style shoots with models (K’La Barber for example) and the outcomes have been great. Paige wanted to shoot a pinup look, and it just turned out to be magic !!! Paige and my long time friend and featured model Natural All Day worked on the hair and makeup, Paige supplied her wardrobe for the two looks and here we are. This look was shot at True Sound Lounge, thank you to Self and the whole team !!! She’s a blast to work with and we have another exclusive look coming to the site that will rock your world. “Everything is good around my way!”
What inspired you to pursue modeling?
“A few of my friends said I should take a shot at it so I did just that.”
You have an outstanding hourglass figure, where do the curves come from and how do you stay in shape?
“Aww thank you!!! I can honestly say I get it from my mama! I work out when I’m not lazy but I am far from a gym junky I would much rather lounge around.”
Which of your features attract the most attention?
“I would say my thighs people seem to enjoy them”
You’ve got a nice variety of looks in your portfolio, what kind of shoots/work do you enjoy the most?
“I can honestly say I love the vixen sets the best. I feel comfortable in my own body and Its easy to turn on the “sexy switch” for me. Living in Michigan though you have to deal with the different types of weather so in some seasons location shoots are impossible but I love being at on location photo-shoots rather than backdrops.”
What are some of your credits?
“I would actually prefer to give credit to RunDolo for seeing something in me and making me one of their official models!”
Tell us some of your long term goals….
“I would love to make it into some major magazines those are my big goals…for now as far as modeling but as far as music my do-to list is very long!!”
Can you tell us about your tattoo(s) What do they mean?
“I have my little sisters name on my wrist. My initials on my lower back …A “13” on my hip. A star on my chest and A Latina clown on my arm which means smile now, cry later & stay strong till the end. (The chains are attached when she is smiling and broken when she cries)”
Tell us about your approach to being in front of the camera, what makes you comfortable and how do you get there?
“At first being in front of the camera I started to pick myself apart but that turns into confidence and knowing what I should and should not do what looks good and what doesn’t. It took me about a year to be able to fully embrace who I was and who I wanted to be… Now I am very comfortable in front of the camera!”

“I love to go fishing, Jet skiing, Canoeing, Camping and just enjoying Michigan for everything it is!”
Your idea of relaxing is?
“No work what so ever, grabbing a beer hitting up the lake and going fishing with my girl Anna !!!”

“I don’t think I have anywhere I would particularly like to go but I would love to go overseas anywhere just for the experience.”

“Music makes every day easy for me. Literally that is all. Music is my everything”

“I love all kinds of music but I mostly enjoy recording love songs you can’t lie about love and love is written so effortlessly. Everything is attached to my F.B ./SoundCloud and my youtube which I just recently put up!”
Tell us about the name Kitana and what made you use it?
“Well me and my friend Jerome and I were looking for a name to fit me so we took the letters from my first name and my middle name and came up with many names but Kitana stuck out and it fit me.”
What’s the craziest thing a fan has done to get your attention?
“Craziest….hmm…I guess its kind of crazy when fans send me penis snap shots. I guess since my ass is out they feel they should return the favor!!!”
Who have you enjoyed working with the most?
“People from my home town, In my heart I believe that Michigan has so many great artist, They are by far my favorite people to work with. As far as photo shoots I enjoy J’s Custom the most he is not afraid to be creative and go into dangerous situations with me to get the shot! A jay Boutire is heaven sent just for me I swear he engineers all of my music and has also written for me. Then I have the Beautiful Katelyn Susan she also writes for me and she is just so amazing as well she knows just what to write for me and how to write it for me!”

We enjoy learning more about ladies that aspire for more than just modeling/vixen status. Your career path seems to be taking you in many directions. Can you tell us about some of your upcoming projects and which ones excite you the most?
I am doing a tv show called The Lick and it’s still in the works. I am supposed to be filming some more scenes with my on camera boyfriend Samuel “caffiene” Monroe, Jr. He’s a great actor. I can’t wait. I am waiting for the installment with me in it to hit youtube.com. So, I can see it! I am also doing a movie called Dirty Game, it’s an awesome story with a lot of great people in it as well. I did a commercial just recently and tomorrow I am doing a music video shoot. I love acting, that is a biggie for me!

From reading your previous interviews, it’s obvious you have a great sense of humor, were you the class clown in school?
No, I hated popular kids and went out my way to be as unpopular as I could and to fuck with them. I’ve always been down for the underdog. So, if I saw someone that no one liked, that is who I became friends with, it was so odd, looking back. I am still the same way.
You’ve also mentioned that during your childhood you grew up in a scary environment/neighborhood, where exactly did you grow up? And has that upbringing made you street smart or helped you with making career choices?
I grew up in Richmond Heights Miami, Fl. I loved the neighborhood, My grandpa had retired from the Air Force in the sixties, he was not gonna move when the neigborhood was not looking so white anymore. lol So, I did get in a lot of fights. I didn’t want to but girls would plan fights, it was like playing kickball after school. Had a boy pull a knife on me in the front yard, I saw a friend getting attacked right in front of me and there wasn’t anything I could do. I was 10. We were walking home from school and this guy stopped on his bike and told her he wanted to talk to her. He came up to her, grabbed her, took her over to a ditch and started fondling her. He was then trying to get her pants off, and I just remember her screaming. Then he ran over to me to hit me so I would shut up, it was horrible. Some guy came running out of his house, but Miami is nuts man. lol There is so much that happened, I distrust everyone. I always look over my shoulder.
You also have an athletic background, formerly gymnastics and track, were you a tomboy growing up? And when did you realize that your lovely face and body were starting to get attention?
I was asked to take some pics for a Seventeen magazine contest. I won for Florida and then when my pics without my height on them got to NY, they called the photographer and he was asked how tall I was. When he told them 5’3, they disqualified me, The minimum height requirement was 5’9. I knew that, I was just thinking somehow I could change things. yeah right. lol
You once lost a competition for Seventeen because of your height, but Urban models don’t seem to be affected by their height at all. Do you feel vindicated that as an urban model you are appreciated for your physical stature and features.?
Yes, finally there is somewhere for the girl that everyone would say to me , “Marcy, you’re so cute, it’s just sad you can’t lose more weight, in your “problem area” Now, I laugh about my problem area!
Along with your outstanding hourglass figure, you also have a pretty face and natural beauty. Where do your features come from and how do you stay in shape?
Well, all the women in my family have like smaller heads. I think it’s funny but my grandma said, “Be happy you’re Danish, danish women look like dolls, with little features. I didn’t give a shit about what she was talking about, nor did I even know. But when I got older and started looking at my family members, I was like, “that’s true.” They all look doll like. Well, the women anyhow.
Being so versatile often leads to being a part of many types of productions. What kind of shoots/work do you enjoy the most?
I love acting. I love comedy. I would love to start doing skits and I think I am going to. I love to make fun of myself and people around me are like, “Marcy, you’re so weird.” Ask Melissa Irish Brown, we always fuck with each other online. But for real, she’s a bitch and I have to deal with her accordingly. It’s weird, it’s hard for me to be friends with soft chics. I like to play around, no one getting their feelings hurt. ya know. I love her though! She’s funny.
We (Kushions) know that you have an unique and versatile resume but can you share with our readers some of your credits ?
Reebok Commercial (one of 20 hip hop dancers on Ocean Drive in miami, where it was taped), Sogebank Commercial, (airing in Haiti), The Lick Tv Series, Dirty Game, the movie. And sang two songs on a compelation cd for Lasalle Gabriel of SLR Records. He is an amazing mentor for me!Gymnast, I danced for a hip hop dance team that was started by an ex-charger cheerleader of three years. I have written for newspapers and magazines. I can act, sing, dance, write and model. I think I can communicate well too!
You’ve been in quite a few magazines, the cover girl and host for a mixtape, and now television. Can you tell us some of your long term profession goals?
To be on a show that I love to work on.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
No tattoos, don’t like em. I like em on everyone else, but the commitment is my issue, I can’t move it around or change it.
You’ve been modeling for a good portion of your life and you are trained to be confident and sexy on set, but have you ever been afraid before shooting? What techniques do you have to handle the butterflies?
I am always nervous to shoot with someone new, sometimes I put off the shoot a couple of times if I don’t know them. I am such a dork. I paid Cesar Varela to shoot me like a year and a half ago and I still have not shot with him. I really need to get on that.
People would be surprised to know that ___________?
I love spiders. I have had a ton of different spiders, Chilean Rose, (the friendliest) I had a Salmon Pink, It’s a bird eating tarantula. That is the second largest. I really want a Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula. I saw one the other day for $300. That mother fucker is meaaaaaaaaaan! I like them cause they’re mean. But you can’t handle them. I would get the salmon pink spider out of the cage and I didn’t use gloves once and all the hairs they flick off their back, got into my forearms and i was in such pain for like a day or two.
Your idea of relaxing is?
I don’t relax, ever. I just stop working when I literally fall over. last night was a Friday night. I stayed in, (I’m a recluse) I worked on videos and editing them and I got done at 5:30 this morning. My dogs woke me up and I was up by 8:30 and I am back at this again. I think I am seriously addicted to work. I am addicted to making it. I won’t stop. I can’t stop, it’s something that drives you when it’s a passion, you can’t stop, no matter, how broke you are, no matter if there is no internet, no matter if you have no computer, you find a way. I been there. I am not too proud or fake to say that I have had a tough year. I fell and tore the meniscus and had to have surgery, it took me ten months to fully recover, it didn’t go so well, the surgery and all. I can’t wait to come back from it and THAT, I will! Kinda nice that a settlement they’re giving me will help things too. It’s getting invested right back into me!

Wayne Dyer. Deepok Chopra. I don’t do music very much. I love it, but I am about energy and spirituality and keeping my insides clean and free of waste. It may sound corny, but that is what I always watch on youtube, Wayne Dyer..
Your favorite getaway spot?
I wish I could say I had one. I don’t do anything but work, so it would be the bathtub, that is the only time I am not in front of my computer or shooting.
How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
I love TANK! I can’t stop listening to his cd. R&B is my favorite. And my favorite rapper is Mystikal.
We’ve learned that having a sense of humor and good smells attract your interest, but do you have any specific requirements or weaknesses when it comes to a man?
Smells. I am so big on smells and clean nails. EEEEESH!

What’s the craziest/funniest/or most silly thing a fan/admirer has done to get your attention?
Called me a bitch and told me to fuck off. I was taken back. I actually wrote him back and said that was rude, then he said, “Good, it worked. You wrote me” then I learned people will do that just for you to say something. You can actually just say hi, I am not a diva.

Lasalle Gabriel, he has such a good soul. He is just so pure, you can hear it when you speak to him on the phone!
Tell us what kinds of environments and clothing make you feel the most sexy?
i LOVE juicy couture sweatpants, i have them in every color, but I seriously need to stop! I wear them too much! I just got sent a bunch of clothes from Apple Bottoms, this is my fifth box, I love them and their clothes!
Your aka is the Miami Diamond, can you tell us about your love for the 305 and what you enjoy most about representing Miami ?
I love that city, a photographer gave me that name. He said, “you’re name is Marcy Diamond and you’re from Miami, you’re the Miami Diamond.” I was like, “Oh, ok, sounds catchy. Then I was getting called Marcy Miami, so then I made a gmail account with that name.

I love positive people and people who give love, I am trying to be good at that too. I am not perfect, I do get bitchy, but I am trying hard to be a good influence and be good to people. Q: How did you get into modeling?
I always wanted to do it so I booked my first shoot, signed with my first agency and went from there.

I’m doing a model shoot out in TN its called Hollowpalooza. I also have an appearance at a trade show with my friend and Playboy model Missy Robinson for a signing in Houston. I’m planning on traveling to Hong Kong this year and working on a few unannounced projects there. I also have an issue of JM Magazine another American Curves issue next month and will be shooting for Show Magazine during the summer. A week after my first youtube video got 6,500 hits in like 4 days!

I am lucky enough to have been blessed with the curves! had them since I was 14 LOL… How I keep em? exercise! Main things I do are squats,lunges, leg curls, tai-bo, for my cardio I do 20 mins on the punching bag and 30 mins on the inclined treadmill.. I don’t really do girly exercise LOL. I get down in the gym! As of late i been doing P90-x

I love the feedback that I get rather it be good feedback or bad. I take it all and process it and see how I can become better. With out feedback I would be lost on what I need or not need to do.

One thing that I wanted as a goal happened a year after I started posting on the net I was able to quit the “9-5” job. I would love to see myself step out of my comfy zone and perhaps be in some music vids or movies and magazines.

How were you discovered?
Well I wasn’t exactly “discovered” I took all sorts of lessons and classes since the age of 5 and my first modeling photo shoot I was 8 years old.
Observers can see from your portfolio the progression you have made as a model; can you tell us where you have improved and what you have learned?
You learn with every photo shoot you do and grow in your craft. Working with experienced photographers I’ve learned from them: better posing, positioning and facial expressions. Also you get higher quality and better images.
Your features are outstanding and natural, beautiful face, skin, shape, and just an overall unique look. I’m sure you get asked often to explain your heritage but where do the curves and features come from and how do you stay in shape?
I am a mixed Latina from a Cuban & Spanish father and Puerto Rican mother and born in the NYC. I guess a good combination of my parents genes made me! Lol. I used to stay in shape easily when I was a trained dancer. Now I go to the gym and work out my entire body several times a week. It’s important to take care of your body and to stay active.
How have you been able to balance your daily life and occupation with modeling and what keeps you grounded?
It’s a balancing act when you do a lot of different things like I do. All you can do is stay organized and professional and do the best you can. Just handle your business and prioritize.
What kind of modeling or work do you enjoy the most?
I think honestly for me my favorite was Pageantry and Promotional modeling because it involves all of you and how u present yourself and speak. But I enjoy everything actually, there’s pros and cons in everything.
Your resume continues to grow, please tell our readers some of the work you have completed and where they have seen and will see you?
I’ve come out in Sweets Magazine Issue #13, I have a 6 page spread there and I have come out in the first print edition of Gorgeous Magazine. I’ve done some more music videos such as Lloyd Banks ft. Well first off Thank you and I am much honored to be your first! Aww I’m not such a hot commodity – yet, LOL. There are things that I am happy about what I have done and am doing but I have a ways to go. I’m proud of my accomplishments and that people are eager to work with me.
You are intelligent and beautiful and as a model expected to be confident, but can you tell us about a time during your modeling career when you were nervous and how you dealt with it?
I am always a little nervous! It’s to exude confidence even when internally you are a unsure, that’s only natural. You’ve just got to take a deep breath and do it and not be afraid or upset to hear a no or something you don’t want to. It happens many times in this game, you just got to take it with grace and move on to the next.

What is the best advice you have received since you began your modeling career?
Don’t be afraid to listen and grow from constructive criticism. Learn from all of your experiences, good and the bad. And that you’ll hear a lot of No’s more then Yes’s, don’t let that get to you or take it too personal.

It would have to be Lady Gaga. I am dying to see a live performance of hers. She is so creative and different. She embodies truly what it is to be an artist. I really like her as a person and performer.

Anywhere quiet desolate with a beach, many Caribbean islands I enjoy.
How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? What is your favorite song of the moment?
I love hip hop music and pretty much I like something in every genera of music. Music is the soundtrack of my life; it’s a big part of me. One of my favorite songs of the moment is Jamie Foxx ft. Drake “Fall for your type”.
24 hours to do whatever Jenice wants, wherever Jenice wants to be, where and what do we find you doing?
LOL, makes me think of the song “24 hours to live”. Hmmm I would run amuck and try to accomplish in that time what I want to before I die. I’d be mostly with friends and family saying goodbye and preparing for the next life.
When and what makes you feel beautiful and sexy?
Simply just being happy.

I also really like the shoot I did with MJ Flix, I love his work and would definitely work with him again. I really admire and love Maya Guez’s art. I am dying to work with her, she is amazing. And there are many other photographers that I look forward to be working with in the future as well.

I am truly blessed to have been nominated 3 years in a row for this award, to be named one of the top 7 models in the DMV is an accomplishment in itself. I think with anything, when you work hard for something it feels great to be acknowledged for it. I love what I do and I think it truly shows through my work.
What inspired you to pursue modeling?
Well My family really, I danced half my life and when I moved to Maryland I wasn’t able to dance anymore which crushed me, that was my passion, my life really. I was missing that void. Until My brother saw a Modeling School on TV and thought I should attend it. When I did, I got that same feeling back from dance, and knew this is what I was meant to do. I cherish every moment of it.

The Love of music is so powerful, you can always find those songs that you can swear were written just for you. Hip Hop has impacted my life in general, without hip hop I wouldn’t be booking any jobs right now.. Hip Hop is a form of expression, I would be lost without it.

Ummm.. tattoos are a major turn on especially on a mans strong arms, confidence, when a man treats me with respect. that’s def. hard to find these days.

Thank you for having me back! I’ve actually been pretty busy. I’ve done a few videos with some more on the way. Most people don’t know this, but I have a full time job in television. Post production/broadcast for 8 of the largest television networks in the country! Along with that I’m working on my website Brittanydasani.com which is coming along beautiful, I can’t wait for you guys to see it!

I’m Italian and Portuguese so I guess I could thank my genes. I eat everything under the sun, don’t diet, don’t work out too too much. I think my metabolism is just really good, surprising for my age. It’s going to catch up to me so I’ve definitely fallen back on the junk food and started paying better attention to my health though.
Which of your features attract the most attention? And what’s the best compliment you’ve heard?
My butt, chest & eyes. The best compliment isn’t necessarily something people have said to me; I find it most humbling when people actually take time out to search for my work, message me about how excited they are for my website etc. Those are things that matter because as a model you need to have a good solid fan base because there are so many of us out here. Knowing I have followers is a compliment in itself.
What kind of shoots/work do you enjoy the most? I’d have to say urban/glamour.
I like well themed shoots. I’m big on making sure my vision along with the photographers vision is well portrayed through our images.
Tell us when you feel beautiful and what makes you feel that way…
Honestly, when I’m in sweats and a hoody or a Juicy suit. If you can be comfortable with yourself outside of mini dresses and heels, that’s a good thing.
Everyone needs a Kushion in their life, tell us about your soft side and what makes you a Kushion?
Ughh I’m one big kushion! I’m a relationship girl, I’m very giving and loving, faithful and dedicated to whomever I’m with. I feel incomplete if I don’t have another half to give my all to. So I’d have to say LOVE makes me all kushy!
Your features are natural and some ladies want the look you have, how do you feel about ladies that choose surgery to imitate?
You know whats funny? Is that there are so many girls that I just recently found out about, in the industry that get the a** injections to make them more marketable. I just shake my head. Work with what you have, some chicks have fatter a**es than others… so squat and eat a burger! Some chicks have bigger boobs than others… who cares. If you really feel the need to get surgery that’s on you… I’m good with my body!

No tats yet, I definitely want one though. Not sure yet what I want. I have my ears and my belly pierced.

Hmmm, either Eminem, Banks or Nu Jerzey Devil… those are the only 3 in the industry I really follow. I feel like they’ve set their own career path’s. Different in many ways then other mainstream artists. Their still hungry and passionate. Jerz is newer so he’s definitely passionate and you can hear it in his voice when he talks about it.
Your favorite getaway spot?
I’d have to say either Miami or Vegas.
How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
I mean, seeing as though that’s the market I’ve fallen into, I’d have to say it impacts my daily life tremendously, but by any means don’t depend on the next video or whatever. I have a look that can easily be taken to another market. Plus it keeps me awake in my car when I’m working all crazy shifts! My favorite song… I’d have to say Any girl or 25 to life.
What are your turnons?
Strong, independent, faithful men. I hate someone who thinks their so much better than others, or myself. Don’t try and be something your not. Love a man who can dress also.

Who have you enjoyed working with the most?
And name someone you would love to work with? So far, I’ve had great experiences with everyone I’ve worked with. From artists, to models, to photographers etc. But I will say, the whole G-unit fam… love them! Very down to earth, artists to managers all of them are great people and I’m happy they have become a part of my life.
The most sensual shoot you’ve ever done and what made it so sexy?
Good question, I’d have to say every shoot I do I try to portray some sensuality! I do have a shoot coming up and I think it’s gonna top all my others!
Can you name a place that you would love to do a shoot? And what would be the theme?
Ugh, if I could shoot anywhere… It’d be Tuscany. The theme would be of old vintage but sexy feeling.
What should we expect to see you doing in the near future?
More videos, hosting, magazines, my website… I’m gonna be all over the place!
