Q: First off I would like to thank you for taking time out to do this interview with us.

Q: You have a very exotic mix of Brazilian and Cherokee, who is who in your family?
My mom is Brazilian and she still lives in Recife today. My father is of Cherokee Indian descent.
Q: What type of girl were you growing up? Were you a girl who always got a lot of attention?
I was always the type of girl that wondered what if and how come, I loved science projects and even won a few science fairs in my days. I also was really into dance and cheer squad! Coming to America at age 8 and not being able to speak English made life tough at first so I received a lot of attention growing up in small towns outside of Dallas TX and Tulsa OK, because I was Brazilian, but soon enough it was my dance talents that people recognized as well. I actually learned to speak English through my education of dance, so dancing is very important to me.
Q: So how did you get into modelling?
Ever since I owned a Barbie Doll I wanted to be a muse, or an inspiration to other girls to look pretty and feel pretty! My first modeling job was for local Miami artist Black Dada, we did a photo shoot to promote his latest single “Naughty Girl”, it was an honor to work with such a talented staff and a great musician. From there I booked my first music video for another Miami artist Swazy Styles for his “LIKE THIS” video, which again was a lot of fun and I met so many great people. After that bookings started coming in and I hope that my good luck continues…
Q: I see you have an impressive resume Playboy Girls of Golf, Maxim,and also a Nuvo spokes-model, these are all very prestigious events/titles to have how much do you enjoy it?
It’s fun! Meeting new people and going to the HOTTEST events in Miami, who could complain, right? I hope though being more involved in public events I will be able to use my start power to shine a light on a charity that is near and dear to my heart, like Mutts n Models http://muttsnmodels.org. Mutts n Models is a group of caring models that work on a volunteer basis. They serve as a support team targeting the same goals as do the rescue centers with which we align themselves; to help prevent animal neglect, raise awareness. They are not a shelter, nor do they collect funds directly from any of the events. I urge everyone to do what they can to get involved today!
Q: I see you did Soulja Boy’s “Wet” video. What was working with Soulja Boy like?
Soulja Boy was very cool, very relaxed and down to earth and REAL! and it made working with him so much fun! Also got to give it up one time for Jon Bertorelli of http://vulpinefilms.com/ for making an incredible video!
I would love to work with Soulja Boy and Vulpine Films again in the future!
Q: How much does hip-hop influence your life?
Hip Hop is a HUGE influence on my life! Its my favorite style of dance and my favorite style of music, well I love rock n roll too!
But hip hop has the beats that make my body move!!! nuff said, LOL
Q: What is a normal day like for Jennifer Mason?
Is there any such thing as normal? I mean usually I wake up and walk my puggle, Kaya (she is like a daughter to me and we even have the same birthday), I make my boyfriend and myself breakfast and then got to school, and then tan and work out. But it never happens that way LOL, I always have a booking or something crazy, and we are running around all day trying to be at ten different places at ten different times, lol.

How has social networking influenced your career, is there a specific site you prefer most to interact with your followers and friends?
It has definitely had a positive effect on my career. Most of my networking is done online, so I rely on these websites as a way to gain followers and fans and of course to make money. I really like twitter. I have the most fun on there and also the most followers. I post a ton of pictures and I like the more frequent style of updating. I think it’s easier to interact with my fans and supporters on twitter as well. I try to respond to everyone!
How does a college graduate from Indiana wind up in Playboy?
Funny you should mention college…that is actually the reason I am a Playboy model (or a model at all). I went to Purdue University for school. While I was there, Playboy came for a casting call. I went to it because I had nothing to lose. They picked me out of many hopeful girls. I did the shoot and I LOVED it! I wanted to do more modeling right away. So I joined some networking sites, built up a portfolio, and here I am today. In the meantime I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Purdue and shot for Playboy a few more times.
What inspired you to pursue modeling?
I have wanted to be a model or an actress since I was a young girl. Growing up in the early 90’s, I saw the big name super models all over TV, magazines, catalogs, etc. and I wanted to be like them. Women like Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks, and Nikki Taylor were amazing and so beautiful to me. Unfortunately, I grew older but did not grow taller, so I knew I’d never be on the runway like them. I’m glad there are other types of modeling I can do!
You have an outstanding hourglass figure, where do the curves come from and how do you stay in shape?
Why thank you! I actually used to be very skinny. I ran competitively all through High School and most of college. I was really good, so I didn’t care that I wasn’t curvy. But then I stopped running so much and started getting some curves, and I loved it. I then started modeling and got even curvier on purpose. I think it looks better for the types of modeling I do. I finally feel like a really sexy woman! I do some working out still, but I actually lose weight pretty easily because of my metabolism. I want to keep my curves, so no heavy cardio at the time! I do like squats though.
What about you makes you feel, and when do you feel you are your sexiest?
Like I said above, I really like my curves. Modeling has helped me embrace them and help me gain more confidence in general. I also think my smile is very sexy. There’s something alluring about a nice smile. I feel sexiest when I’m in a form fitting outfit and heels or nothing at all!
From reading your previous interviews it appears you enjoy being naked, but what kind of shoots do you enjoy the most?
I do enjoy being naked, for shoots and otherwise. I do like having at least some accessories when I’m shooting, however. I enjoy regular glamour shoots in sexy lingerie and swimwear (especially thongs). I also enjoy dressing up in latex and leather clothing. Pretty head shots are great too.
6 Appearances in Playboy as Mariela Henderson, can you tell us more about the experience shooting for Playboy, and tell us some of your other credits?
I’ve actually been in Playboy 7 times now, lol. 6 times in Special Editions and twice in the main magazine. I have also appeared online as Cyber Girl of the week (October 2009) and Cyber Girl Xtra (September 2010). Mariela Henderson is my Playboy name. They made us pick fake names when I first shot for them and was still at Purdue. I picked a random name because I didn’t know I’d be modeling more for Playboy or at all. I tried to change it when I shot for them the next time and people were starting to know me as Stephy C, but they like consistency (which I can understand). So now I specify that it is all me, the same person! The overall experience with Playboy has been amazing. I LOVE shooting for them and hope to do so again very soon. I have also been in other publications including Straight Stuntin’ Magazine, Gorgeous Magazine, 4pm Magazine, and multiple online features/magazines and coffee table books.
Outside of modeling and acting please tell us some of your long term goals….
If I ever get sick of modeling/acting, I want to go back to school and get my Master’s degree (maybe also in conjunction with modeling). I would also want to travel just to travel, especially overseas. Eventually I would like to settle down and maybe have kids as well(or at least some pug dogs, lol)
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
Yes, I have 10 piercings and 1 tattoo. 9 of the piercings are in my ears and one is somewhere else. My tattoo is small and on the back of my left shoulder. It says “sweet” in Tsalagi (Cherokee language).
As a model you are expected to exude confidence and control, but have you ever been afraid/nervous before a shoot?
Of course! I was super nervous for my first shoot, especially because it was a big company AND I would be half naked. But it definitely turned out OK and they were very helpful and supportive. I also get nervous if I’m going to shoot with a really amazing photographer that I’ve never met before. I know their work is awesome, and I just want to make sure I bring my all as well so the images rock. I am shy at first but once the camera starts clicking I get into it and relax to create kick ass pictures!
People would be surprised to know that ___________?
I am really short. I put my stats right on my Model Mayhem portfolio, but everyone always thinks I’ll be taller. I do look taller in pictures though, I suppose. But I am only 5’2”!

You’ve got front row tickets to see your favorite artist or personality. Who is it and why?
Outkast! I love their music (together and separately) and I just know they would put on a great show. 2nd choice would be Wu-Tang when ODB was still alive (R.I.P.)
With all of the traveling you’ve done can you tell us your favorite getaway spot?
Miami or L.A. I go to both places for work, but I always spend a few extra days so I can just relax and go out with my friends to clubs, the beaches, shopping, etc.
How does music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
I love music. I always listen to my iPod or iTunes when I’m online or planes, trains, etc. I’m not a fan of a lot of the stuff that is out on the radio nowadays, so I don’t listen to it very much. One song that I’ve been listening to a lot lately is Old Dirty Bastard feat. Killah Priest, RZA, MastaKilla, and Buddha Monk – “Snakes” (From Return to the 36 Chambers).
What traits or features are must haves for your mate?
Physically I like tall, dark, and handsome…lol. Also great teeth and a nice smile, a strong back, and a larger than average wang. I like a guy that has a great sense of humor, will be a dork with me, doesn’t take life too seriously, is open minded, has goals and ambition, takes care of himself, and has great personal hygiene.
What are the some of the biggest no-no’s?
A closed mind, ignorance and/or stupidity and unwillingness to learn/understand things, no sense of humor, small wangs, bad breath, B.O., laziness, hates animals
What’s the craziest thing a fan/admirer has done to get your attention?
I’ve gotten a lot of unwanted wangpics and videos…smh! Fellas, please don’t send them to my email unless I ask for them…you WILL KNOW if I want to see that, lol.
Who have you enjoyed working with the most? And name someone you would love to work with?
My two favorite photographers at the time are RhoPhotos (www.rhotographic.com and http://www.twitter.com/rhophotos) and TH Taylor (www.modelmayhem.com/thtphoto). They are both amazing people and photographers. I have a lot of fun working with them and we always get wonderful images. There are too many other photographers that I want to work with to list! I’m just going to keep striving and shooting until I can work with them all =P
Can you recall the most sensual shoot you’ve ever done and what made it so sexy?
I make all of my shoots sensual! But the most sensual are probably the ones I do for www.stephyc.com, especially the videos. I love feeling sexy and moving slowly while teasing and eventually removing articles of clothing. It is fun to be in front of the camera and know that the members will enjoy it just as much as I do!
Your notoriety increased tremendously from your appearances for Playboy, what advice can you offer to models who are considering modeling nude?
It definitely did. I would say to go for it if they are comfortable with themselves and their bodies. If they have any doubts, they shouldn’t do it until they are completely ready because pictures and stuff online doesn’t always go away. I would also say to hire a great photographer or shoot with someone they are comfortable with so they can get great images.

My website will be launching in APRIL 2011. I will have an alter-ego feel. A XXX and mainstream side…its exciting putting things together. I was nervous working with Cherokee D’ Ass. I met her before I even got in the industry… but since we were friends before hand…. it was fun… and looked well on screen.

I am an avid skateboarder for the past 2 years now.I competed in one skateboard competition locally in Austin… I lost… but placed in the Top 25. I also am a huge gamer…. my first Christmas toy I really remember were the old Nintendo system when I was 7. Still have it in storage. Just call me a nerd at heart.
Your idea of relaxing is?
At home with the dogs. Or skateboarding on the boardwalk at the beach. Maybe just spending time with my family. Like my mother always says, “ One who enjoys true leisure who has time to improve his soul’s estate.”

Wow!!! That’s is hard.. I am a huge punk rock & hip-hop fan …. so I would say Soundgarden or DJ D-Nice. I loved Soundgarden since I was young… like12. My mother brought me up on KRS-One and others…. so old school hip-hop only comes natural to me… and my iPod.
Besides adult entertainment we’ve noticed you are active in other genres, can you tell us some of your other talents and interests?
Well my sports blog (www.iheartamile.blogspot.com) is coming along nicely. I graduated in May with a bachelor’s in English with a minor in Media Broadcasting, so writing is just natural for me. I do want to pursue a career in writing… no tell-all crap. Stories of triumph and victory, many articles and/or stories that can help one, if not many. That’s why I love sports-writing so much. I also do an advice column on Ustream and for my hometown newspaper.
How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
Not only Hip Hop music but ALL music is such an impact to our lives. When I am happy, I listen to music. Whenever I am sadden by any situation there is music to console me. But hip-hop mostly expresses my deepest pain and joys. Yet hip-hop has opened my eyes on society in general. I come from a middle-class military family so of course, what I hear in the music is not what I seen, but I have come to experience.
Can you tell us some of your turn ons and what features/traits attract you to (men/women)?
I am openly bi-sexual (yet I mostly date women), I look for confidence… that is a must. I can’t be with someone that I can walk all over. I need strength as well as beauty. Oh, and I only like CHUBBY men… NOT BBWs!!! Women have to have some tone on them. ITS A MUST!

I am continuing my sports blog… and I am now looking for contributors.
I just wrote my first published magazine article for Bubbleshake Magazine with a featured spread (STREET DATE Jan 15th) , Plus another feature with Stunnaz Magazine in Spring 2011! How were you discovered?
Well I met Kush DVD from networking and grinding through FB and Twitter and then they contacted me.
What inspired you to pursue modeling?
My love for fashion, I love everything about modeling because for me its a form of being creative and expressing yourself and clearly everyone in my family draws and I can’t lol. I pursued acting first it, but it didn’t take off as quick.

Well thank you & my curves I must give thanks to GOD and my mother although I stole hers…lol ((sighs)) as far as keeping in shape I can admit I need a personal trainer & self discipline but as for now water and small meal portions… smh

Wow.. its a battle between my ass & face! Lol if I gotta choose my ass won!!
What kind of shoots/work do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy glamor, fashion and concept shoots! I hope to book commercial and print ad work, tear-sheets etc. I Love it all as long as it’s within my limits… 😉
What are some of your credits ?
Well I’ve done about 10 fashions shows this year between NJ and NY. I’ve hosted events and artist in-store signings like Trey Songz. I’ve done about 6 or 7 upcoming artist videos, other promotional jobs and I also do make-up which I’ve recently done for author Terese Smauldon. Just grinding to get me noticed & more paid jobs because I am definitely worth it.
Tell us some of your long term goals….
My long term goals are to become successful period no matter what I do! What do I love to do.. besides modeling, I love shopping and fashion so I want to pursue my degree in Fashion Merchandising & Mgmt. I want to eventually start a few businesses and definitely help other models reach their goals.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
Yeah I have 4 tattoos; my daughter’s name my 1st, 2nd SexyMa the name I got before thinking to model, 3rd Aquarius on my neck which didn’t hurt at all and 4th was my foot with a vine of rainbow hearts!! That shit hurt by the way!! Lol
Your beauty can easily be intimidating, but have you ever been afraid/intimidated before a shoot?
Ummm not really !! At first I refused to wear makeup and that didn’t work, I’ve never been to a modeling school or signed with an agency so everything I do is me trying to perfect it Naturally. I can definitely say now I am much more confident than in the beginning and now know what I do/don’t wanna represent in the modeling industry. I don’t judge what others do but I know myself and I am not easily persuaded, I’ve been told I won’t make it and that’s just another opinion in one ear out the other.

My sexual preference is women and that I have a daughter.
Your idea of relaxing is?
Lol… since I know whats good for me I’ll just say watching a good movie in my bed

How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
Wow Hip Hop and music as a whole impacts me in so many ways… I am good at pinpointing great music and artists. I actually catch myself listening to Hip Hop more than R&B! Its the beats that get me goin and motivated! I love good music and my fav song is everything out that’s a good package like…
What are your turnons?
Intelligence, common sense, confidence, motivation & swag! When you contain all of those you have balance and a great foundation for a total package.
What are your turnoffs?
Ignorance, Close Minded individuals, people who can’t dress, haters or cocky people that just don’t qualify to behave in any way other than humble… lol oh & thirsty men. I feel if you got swag you shouldn’t have to chase anything not even your dreams!!
What’s the craziest thing a fan/admirer has done to get your attention?
Omg I was going into the bodega to get an Arizona Sweet tea and he came in and followed me to the fridge and says “excuse me mam but who are you? You gotta be someone cause you just look too good… can I get your autograph?!” I just held my laugh and blush in and gently responded “I’m no celebrity yet hun I just model…” I thought that was cute and it gave me that boost like damn I can imagine when I really get it poppin in so many positive ways!
Who have you enjoyed working with the most? And name someone you would love to work with?
The most so far… I definitely gotta say KatWalk Katerers a company I just began working with in July. Their movement and intentions are GREAT!! Hmmm I would love to work with my favorite model Esther Baxter or another new inspiration Bobbi Jo model/actress as far as a photographer, I wanna work with Maya Guez or Howard Huang their work is HOT!!
The most sensual shoot you’ve ever done and what made it so sexy?
I can’t say I’ve done your average sensual shoot but the most for me is doing a collab shoot for an upcoming male artist in 2pc lingerie and another female model. It was sexy because we had to portray we were jealous of his attention…lol and she got completely naked for it nothing raunchy… no further comment lol
What should we expect to see you doing in the near future?
Being in your favorite classy yet sexy videos, magazines, DVDs like KushDvd, videos as the principal girl, commercials and hopefully someday movies!!

How were you discovered?
I first started modeling as an infant and have been off and on since then! My friends always said I should go to the urban route of modeling because IM so thick, so I took their advice two months ago and started modeling the Urban way! I discovered myself actually.
What inspired you to pursue modeling?
I grew up around all women in a beauty salon-so Ive always been in front of the mirror perfecting beauty. Modeling comes natural to me, so its really easy to pursue. My two inspirations are Anna Nicole and Marilyn Monroe, their beauty is so sexy yet classy-thats what I was to perceive myself as in the industry. Which makes me different then the rest!
You have an outstanding hourglass figure, where do the curves come from and how do you stay in shape?
Ive always been curvy, never below a size 9 even in high school. I dance at Broadway Dance Center-ballet,tap,jazz,hip hop,modern,etc. I also go to the gym and do weight training. To be honest with you I HATE THE GYM, but I force myself to go. My body stays thick, I love food!
Which of your features attract the most attention?
Id have to say my teal eyes, and my “wholly” are the biggest features-oh yea and my 38 D boobs too!
What kind of shoots/work do you enjoy the most?
I love location shoots, its fun to be out of the studio and be creative. I just shoot with TSJ STUDIOS in up state NY, and we did a ton of location shots. we had a blast outside with the hose, in the garden, and by this fence that looked like I was back home in Maine!
When did you realize that you had what it takes and how has the response been so far to your work?
I’ve always felt gorgeous inside and out, and I knew I was different then most girls in my high school. People always asked me if I modeled or acted, so I guess Ive realized it for a long time now. The response to my modeling has been great! I have a lot of fans in Maine, my home state, which makes me so happy! I cant wait to gain more fans and reach out to girls-so they know that you can be curvy and beautiful!

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
I have one tattoo on my right index finger, no one really knows about it yet…its hard to see! it says “le sexxx” which my friend gave me as a nickname, its french for “the sex”-Im also starting a company after this nickname as well as Maegan Belle LLC.
Your beauty can easily be intimidating, but have you ever been afraid before a shoot?
I still to this day get butterflies before shooting! Its not like Im afraid its just an exciting feeling that goes throughout my body. I don’t like to feel intimidated ever!
People would be surprised to know that ___________?
I grew up in the woods-hunting, fishing, four wheeling, mudding, ski-doing, milking cows, doing chores at the farm, etc. I’m a tomboy but very much so a girly girl. Guys can get scared of that sometimes, yes I have guns lol.
Your idea of relaxing is?
Being on a rocking chair with a cup of coffee and a great book by the ocean…naked!
You’ve got front row tickets to see your favorite artist. Who is it and why?
I love Nicki Minaj and Drake. They are my two favorite artists at the moment, went to see them two months ago-and going to see Drake next month in NYC. Their lyrics just get to me, and I love their fashion sense.
Your favorite getaway spot?
Florida-my family owns a time share there-Ive been going every year since I was two years old. Its in Treasure Island Florida, right on the beach-alot of old people, so its pretty quite an relaxing…and somewhere no one would expect me to be. love it there.
How does Hip Hop music impact your daily life and your work? Whats your favorite song of the moment?
Ive loved hip hop music and lifestyle since I was 12 years old, I was a lot different then most girls in Maine. I always listened to it, and I couldn’t go day to day without my ipod! My favorite song at the moment is “baddest bitch” by Nicki Minaj, it gets me fired up for the day and makes your confidence go up!
What are your turnons?
I love it when guys choke me and take advantage of me-its the BIGGEST turn on ever! most cant handle me so they feel scared lol. a man who can’t control me is a turnoff to me.
What are your turnoffs?
I HATEEEE it when guys just lay there, do something! geese. a non sexual turn off is guys without manners! i need a man who has great manners, because I had to take etiquette classes-so it just bugs me! Id leave a date if the guys chews with his mouth open or starts licking his fingers, ew!
What’s the craziest thing a fan/admirer has done to get your attention?
I have some stalkers on Facebook, its sorta scary but its amusing. lol. I’ve had a few fans show up at the clubs or dinners I’m at and ask me for photos, nothing TOO crazy yet thank goodness.
Who have you enjoyed working with the most? And name someone you would love to work with?
I loved working with TSJ STUDIOS and Blu Print ID. They are both amazing photographers and great people as well. I would love to work with Gabe David, he is a photographer for Playboy-hes simply divine!
The most sensual shoot you’ve ever done and what made it so sexy?
I just did this shoot with TSJ STUDIOS inside on a black drop, with all the lights out- candles lit-and this lamp light was very dim-so overtime he took a shot in between would go dark. it was so sexy and hot, mmm! didn’t want to stop, felt the sexiest ever!
What should we expect to see you doing in the near future?
My website is going to launch soon, cant wait for my dream site to happen! Im also going to be in Stunnaz, Sweets, and Bubble Shake Mags coming out this fall! I just shot a video with Red Cafe as well…Much more to come!
Any parting words or people you would like to thank?
I would like to thank my family, they have always been there for me-and keep me grounded. They are my life. I would also like to thank my two best friends Emmy and Lael for always supporting me and my crazy dreams and giving me the courage to go for them without a thought! LOVE YOU GUYS!
